Machel Monday Replacement Announced Updated:Video

Machel Montano announced last night at Machel Monday the replacement to the ten year old event.

There was a big fanfare in the middle of the concert as he brought on special dancers with him indicating he will be leaving the shore. Apparently he was not just using that figuratively as he will be launching a new venture with TRIBE – a Soca and Carnival cruise.

Machel has being saying since the start of the season that this will be the last Machel Monday. Speculation was that it would be replaced with a bigger different concert with a different name. Montano made it clear that it is a totally new venture that will take him into international waters in 2021. It will be called Mele and registration begins March 1st 2020.
