Top Soca 2020
One month to go to Carnival 2020 in Trinidad and Tobago and only one major contender for Road March so far.
The soca still sweet in fetes for 2020 as Groovy Soca ruling the fetes. We have to admit it still not touching the highs of 2019 soca like Savannah Grass and Hooking Meh but we found a few that making the fetes pump for Carnival.

People cannot get enough of this song! Violin and pan covers dropping everyday for this song. This is the most searched Soca for 2020 on mytrinilime.com. Once a Trini reach in yuh fete is NICENESS! We are also pretty sure that Voice just coined a new word “boasty”
Fatt – Nadia Batson (lyrics here)
This song released early, picked up steam and never looked back. Ladies love it and guys want more!!
Kes – Boss Lady (Baila Riddim) (lyrics here)
Groovy from early, perfect for the slow wine in de fete. Professional women taking this as their anthem in 2020.
Play Harder Machel Montano (Pop’s Guitar Riddim) (Lyrics here)
Machel releasing songs every other day for 2020 including collaborations. So far this is the only one that we really feelin for 2020. He just dropped a new one with Kerwin Dubois but it was too early for it to make this list. We will see if it will get added as the season goes on.
Kes & Iwer George – Stage Gone Bad (Lyrics here)
Kes and Iwer both looking for Road March this year. It still early but this is the only clear contender so far. However there is still a few weeks to go so anything can happen.
Swappi x Ultimate Rejects – Feeling It
Clearly Uncle Baron out did himself with the original and everyone lovin this remake from Swappi and the Ultimate Rejects!
OMALAY (Chutney Soca Nice) – Super Blue x Ravi B
The only Chutney Soca on the list so far but we think this one will become a classic with a nice fusion between Ravi B and Super Blue with some horns to make it sweet.
Patrice Roberts – Carry On (Pop’s Guitar Riddim)
Patrice brought the groovy anthem for 2020 with Carry on. Her vocals are excellent as usual and there is an acoustic version that she performs of this song which is excellent! 911, Emergency!!
Nailah Blackman – More Sokah
De pan, de vibes, we definitely want more Nailah! Nailah Blackman continues to get better each year and this upbeat pan tune sounds great in fetes and in the pan yard.
Bunji Garlin – The Struggle
This made the list with the best lyrics of 2020. The true joy is to hear Bunji Garlin perform this live! The speed of the delivery in a fete is unbelievable!
Up and Up – Skinny Fabulous
Some people are saying that it sounds like a famalay remix but the crowd response and energy in a fete meant Up and Up had to make the list for 2020!
Viking Ding Dong – We Outside (Knock About Riddim)
The DJ Viking Ding Dong has so much energy when singing this song on stage and the crowd loves it in fetes.
Leadpipe x Jus-Jay – Sometime
This outside man anthem lil dangerous but we have to show love to Barbados with their crop over road march!
Skinny Banton – Wrong Again (Horn Machine Riddim)
The sleeper hit in the fetes is Wrong Again by Skinny Banton! We think real people get horn because EVERYBODY singing this song when it comes on in the fete!!
