The semi finals took place in Arima on Sunday 11 Feb 2019. At times the International Soca Finalists started to feel like Grenada Soca Monarch as in both categories the Grenada entrants emerged as clear favorites. In Groovy V’ghn gave an excellent performance with Trouble in the Morning and Mr. Killa has been been making the real Trouble with his song Run With It. People have been going crazy over this song all over and the Semi Finals saw the same reaction as Mr. Killa gave the crowd what it wanted.
Iwer George got the crowd going with Blessings and plenty water. The crowd was chanting his name at the end of his performance even after he left the stage.
