Iwer and Machel Road Race 2019 – Round 2!

Just when you thought “it done”, Neil “Iwer” George and Machel “Double M” Montano are back at it, with new verses in their lyrical Soca tune battle.

In case you were living under a big stone, Iwer had released his “Road March Bacchanal”, “throwing shade” at Machel. Machel responded with “Dr. Mashup”.

“Round 2” is officially on, as Iwer has added a new verse to his tune:

Meanwhile, at the “Xperience Cooler Fete”, Machel preached “peace and love” while also “chooking some fire” in an interview with CNC3. In the interview, he tries to distance himself from the battle saying; “We (Machel) have bigger things to get to” and the other stuff is “all fun and games”.

However, he also stated that he (Machel) has more 2019 Soca tunes out (fourteen as of this date) and Iwer has two. He also said that he (Machel) was more successful at the Road March race, with much more wins than Iwer. In fact, he stated that Iwer has never won Road March “for himself” as he (Iwer) needed a court matter to force a tie between Iwer and Superblue in 2000.

Peace and love indeed Machel, peace and love indeed.
