New Speed Limits – Trinidad and Tobago

Finally our speed limits have been increased on our highways from 50 and 80 to 80 and 100 KM per hour!!!

The highlights are:

• Audrey Jeffers Freeway – 80 KM/Hr
• Diego Martin Highway – 80 KM/Hr
• Valencia Stretch – 80 KM/Hr
• Reinzi-Kirton Highway – 80 KM/Hr
• South Trunk Road Ext – 80 KM/Hr
• Claude Noel Highway, Tobago – 80 KM/Hr
• Buccoo Bay Rd – 80 KM/Hr
• Beetham Highway – 100 KM/Hr
• Churchill Roosevelt Highway – 100 KM/Hr
• Uriah Butler Highway – 100 KM/Hr
• Solomon Hochoy Highway 100 KM/Hr

Those speeds are only relevant to Motor Vehicles. 

There are lower special speed limits for trucks over 3200 MGW and tractors.
